Ways to Combat Global Climate Change

So I've run across some cool interactive ways to personally combat global climate change. Below is a commercial promoting mass transportation in NYC, but in many ways it's relevant for all of us.

Our communications director showed me this site earlier today. This website basically outlines why a number of skeptical climate change claims are false. The best part is that it is also an iphone app! So when someone tells you climate change can be blamed on a number of solar hot spots, you can whip out your iphone and explain why the sun is actually cooling and have the science to back up your claim.

Also, check out The Environmental Defense Fund's list of recommendations to lower your carbon footprint here.

Of course if you want to make a direct impact on environmental work in NC you can make a donation and join the Sierra Club here.

  1. Wow, very moving indeed!
I'm very impressed lately with the advent of Do-It-Yourself, or DIY, solar and wind power programs out there. For reasonable costs and even re-purposing what was once considered refuse, anyone can at the very least supplement their power usage with renewable energy.
Keep up the great work you are doing.
